2 hours from Geneva airport Geneva, Verbier offers a mix of Alpine charm and international flair. The village’s potential as a ski resort was not discovered until 1925 when a group of mountaineers hiked up 15km for the sole purpose of skiing back down again. Since then, the place has become one of the world’s foremost freeride paradises. Today, everyone’s welcome here. Swing from beer-fuelled après-skis to high end cocktail bars, from burgers to Michelin stars. In Verbier, ski bums and celebs slalom, eat and even paraglide in harmony.

4 VALLées

The 4 Vallées (whose lifts link five resorts in the canton of Valais, including Verbier) ranks among the largest in Europe. The 412 km of bumps, steeps, trees and iconic runs in winter and the twice as long biking and hiking trails in summer won’t even bore the foremost enthusiasts. Thanks to this vast network of slopes and trails, this place allows you to lose yourself in nature on your own terms. Buy a single ticket and get access to 82 lifts. Speed down the mountains on your skis, by toboggan or behind a pack of huskies. If you’re adventurous, paragliding down might become your thing.

Whether you’re looking for it melted, in a pot or on a burger, cheese lovers: we welcome you home. Take a break in the slopes with a proper Swiss fondue, run down for a cheesy platter to share and finish off the night with a homemade triple cheese burger at Shed. For the sake of more pleasure, we recommend you to head to Mont-Gelé for some off-piste skiing, play the golf course where the extraordinary panorama of Mont Blanc and Grand Combin holds you in awe, pick up some downhill trails between the trees in the bike park, or simply relax with a board game and some tasty snacks in our hotel bar.
